Cohda Wireless and Autotalks announcing cooperation
Autotalks, a leading supplier of automotive-grade V2X communication processors and RF transceivers, and Cohda Wireless, the market leader of V2X – Vehicle-to-Vehicle, Vehicle-toInfrastructure, and CAV – Connected Autonomous Vehicles software solution, announcing their partnership at ITS World Congress 2016 in Melbourne.
Cohda Wireless will demonstrate the V2X reference system consisting of the Autotalks PANGAEA platform and Cohda Wireless’ leading V2X software (Booth #313).
The demo showcases interoperability between the Cohda MK5 platform and the Autotalks PANGAEA platform on a variety of safety applications. An in-car live demonstration is also available for experience at Albert Park.
Cohda Wireless CEO Paul Gray said the Cohda Wireless/Autotalks demonstration shows benefits of interoperability for connected vehicle technology. “Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), such as platoons of trucks on highways, requires the most mature V2X communications technology and very low signal delay. Cohda has the most mature, reliable and best performing V2X and CAV solutions available,” he said.
“Autotalks is proud to have such a fruitful cooperation with Cohda.” said Hagai Zyss, CEO of Autotalks. “Our V2X communication chipset is architected for CAV featuring an ultralow-latency V2X Hardware Security Module (eHSM), and line-rate verification for the highest security performance. Together with Cohda’s CAV technology, we believe we can dramatically improve road safety, decrease car accidents and improve mobility.
